9 Months Old!

Our little STINKER is NiNe MoNThs OLD! I am so proud of my little man. He is so special to me, and each day he brings more and more joy into my life. He is so fun and its so fun to teach him new things about life. These past nine months have definitely been the best!

Hunter is trying and struggling to cut his second top front tooth. So we have had to find things to take his mind off the pain. Hunter loves to swing! At the park as I was walking him to the swings Hunter began to scream LOUDLY with excitment! A lady near by said to me "I dont think I have ever heard a baby get so excited for the swings before!" He loves them!

And what kid doesnt like to be surround by toys? Our baby loves to play with toys, and of course make a mess!

He crawls everywhere and manages to get into everything! We love him and we are excited to see what the next month brings!

My Grandparents!

This past weekend, my grandparents came for a short visit! They have been driving cross country for about 7 days. They stayed with Hunter and I for 3 days and they are now back on the road headed to the North East. We had so much fun, and it was so nice to see them. I have the greatest grandparents! My grandparents are a wonderful example to me. They have been married for a little over 50 years now! I think that is so awesome. Their marriage is so loving and classy.

We checked out some of Charlestons Mansions (this one is so pretty!)

I took them to base to tour the model plans. Gratefully some maintenance men were cleaning them up and gave them some info on them. Justin was gone so I couldnt tell them much the planes. My grandpa served in the army and new quite a bit about them, but it was nice to have someone be able to answer some questions.

I am so glad they stopped bye. We had such a good time! I love you guys and I am so grateful to have such wonderful grandparents! They truly are the best! Cant wait to see you again!

Delicious!

I can make home-made bread! No bread maker, no store bought mixes...from scratch!!! For those of you who know me, I really do try to cook well. Unfortunately I am not very good at it. My loving husband is so nice to eat whatever I make, however this bread is amazing! I was so excited I didnt kill the yeast! When my mom was teaching me, she stressed so hard to me not to kill the yeast! I just knew with my luck I totally would. I was so proud of myself! It came out perfect. The only thing I did was put to much dough in the bread pans and when I baked it, they came out about twice as big as a normal loaf! The bigger the better of course!

I guess I let the dough rise a little too much as well...

With some of the dough I made some yummy cinnamon rolls!

Baseball has started!

So for entertainment here in Charleston we often go and see the local sporting events. One of our fav's is the Riverdogs baseball team! They are the AAA team for the Yankees. Unfortunately I am not a very big Yankee fan, but I really like baseball so it is enjoyable!

Hunter of course enjoys these games because he loves to be outside! He also got a hair cut!! Yes, I buzzed the mohawk! It was gettin a little outta control in lenghth, so we trimmed him all down to one lenghth. Sadly, it isnt as soft and silky any more. It actually feels like "grown-up" hair. He is still so cute!

When Grammy Comes to the South!

This past weekend my mom came to town! It was so nice to see her! Hunter was very glad to see his Grammy. So, when Grammy comes to the South we try and show her a good time. This time while she was out we went to the Flowertown Festival. Justin and I had never been to one and it was quite fun. There were like a couple hundred booths of crafts, food, and fun things. Hunter was fascinated by the pond of gold fish and refused to take a good picture with us!

We went down to the docks near our house and checked out the river. Thankfully no creatures were found but it was a fun little dock.
Finally we took Hunter to the mall to meet the Easter Bunny for the first time. He did very well! He wasnt scared at all...nor did he smile. He just kinda hung out with him and pulled on his costume. It was such a great visit! Grammy spoiled Hunter with lots of hugs and kisses. We were so glad to she came out! We love you Grammy!

And The Doctor Says...

"Hunter could not be more perfect!" Thank goodness. Although I did not need a Neurologist to tell me that! Ever since Hunter was itsy-bittsy his right eye would randomly dilate. Well being in the medical field/school for a few years I knew it could possible be something terrible. Although Hunter never whimpered or acted as if he were hurt. So when he was 4 months I asked the Pediatrician about it and he said to keep an eye on it and if it continues recheck with him at 6 months. So I did and in the end Hunter had to see the Neurologist. Luckily, Hunter is more healthy then we knew! I am so thankful! Another blessing to prove that the power of prayer really does work. I already knew that too!
