I am very "Baby Wise!"

(Old picture, but extremely cute)
Ok, so I am happy to announce that Hunter, my precious little boy, has been sleeping through the night, in his own bed (which he always has) for 1 WEEK! Now that is some good news! Did I mention the wonderful sleep I have been getting!!?? Its been very nice. However I didnt do this on my own. I read the book Baby Wise. No, I am not a "by the book mom" but many close friends have sworn by this book. So I read it. After 3 days of following the advise, he slept through the night! Did I mention I even started him on the advise in the process of leaving Utah and moving back to SC? Yah thats how good this book is. Now I am in the process of Baby Wise 2 which is about like highchair manners, play pin and surrounding area boundaries, and the signs of when your baby is ready to be potty trained. I completely recommend these books.

We're Home!

Finally home! Justin, Hunter and I were finally able to reunite over the weekend. It was an amazing feeling to know we're together as a family again. Justin and Hunter have bonded very well and Hunter and I are very happy to have daddy home safe. We are going to have family pictures made next week so when we get them I will be sure to post them!

Christmas 2008

Hunters 1st Christmas! We had an awesome Christmas! Hunter knew exactly what to do with his gifts! We had a really good time!
We spent Christmas Eve with my grandparents in Arizona. Our whole family was there and it was so nice to be able to see everyone and be able to say our "see-ya-laters" since Hunter and I will be leaving on the 2nd. It was really nice.
We also got to talk to Justin! That was the highlight of my Christmas! As of now Justin has been told he will be home on the 3rd! 1 week left! I am so excited!
Hope you all had an amazing holiday! Happy New Year everyone!

Grinns and Giggles!

I love to hear Hunter laugh. I will tell you, my mom and I have almost done everything but stand on our head to get this child to "belly laugh" and of course the littlest thing like Grammies dog can do the trick! Go figure. Its the cutest thing!

Gettin Big!

Hunter has managed to round out both his belly and bottom, so he is now able to sit up! Its nice to be able to sit him down, give him toys, and know he finds enough entertainment to give me a small break!
Everyone always asks about Hunters bum. This is a Mongolian Spot. Its a birthmark. It might not be permanent, if it does go away it will be gone by the time he is 4. This is a pretty rare birthmark. Only children with some dark ethnic backround have a small chance of getting it. Unfortunatly for Hunter, it looks like a bruise. Unfortunatly for me, people that may get a glance and not know, may think something terrible. I call it his lucky charm!

Luck! Hunter is full of luck! He can keep quite the poker face! And boy is it cute! Maybe someday he will really be able to tell me if I make the right move in our favorite family game Marbles!
