And The Doctor Says...

"Hunter could not be more perfect!" Thank goodness. Although I did not need a Neurologist to tell me that! Ever since Hunter was itsy-bittsy his right eye would randomly dilate. Well being in the medical field/school for a few years I knew it could possible be something terrible. Although Hunter never whimpered or acted as if he were hurt. So when he was 4 months I asked the Pediatrician about it and he said to keep an eye on it and if it continues recheck with him at 6 months. So I did and in the end Hunter had to see the Neurologist. Luckily, Hunter is more healthy then we knew! I am so thankful! Another blessing to prove that the power of prayer really does work. I already knew that too!

8 Month MoNstER!

Hunter is now 8 MONTHS OLD! What a journey! Lately he has been impressing his dad and I by showing his "no fear" side. Lately I have caught myself gasping for air as Hunter trys to do something tricky.
To give you an idea of how big my little monster is Hunter is now about 21lbs and 29inches long. He has 2 teeth, 2 on the way (and I sure hope the cut soon!) But he eats everything! He is so strong and is always on the move. He is now crawling...army style however he can get on his hands and knees he just knows the army style better and knows he can get some where faster with that style. He can stand briefly on his own, and has the concept of walking down to a science.
He talks all the time. Of course jibberish, however he is so cute to have converstation with. He is always full of a good song, or a looonngg story! He is always willing to help. That is pull all of the DVD's out of the TV stand, unload the silverwear in the dishwasher, and soak the bathroom floors with bath water for a good cleaning!

We have our hands full! But I wouldnt change it for anything! I have two amazing men in my life, and I am incredibly grateful.

For those of you who know about Justin and I lanscaping our yard here are our finished results.

Sweet Innocence

How cute is this little face!!? To me he is the most precious thing ever. Sometimes I feel so helpless when I am unable to make him smile or calm him down and it gets tough. However never in my life would I ever hurt my child.
The other day I had to go to DOH and unfortunately witnessed something so disturbing it was hard to not break down and cry. There was a young 8month pregnant mother, with her 2 yr old daughter in there who began to throw a huge fit. I understand its hard to deal with toddler tantrums, however she took it to far. In front of everyone the mother pulls her childs pants down, rips the pamper and began to beat the little girls bare bottom. My heart broke, the other people waiting were getting upset and the women took the little girl outside. The lady had parked in front where her actions continued and we were still able to see. She started to smack her daughter in the face like she was a dog, threw her in the back seat and continued to smack her bottom and legs. The women sitting next to me decided to go outside and explain to the young mother (that was now smoking, keep in mind she is very pregnant) that this was very wrong. Another person in the waiting room told the front desk lady what was happening and she called the cops. The cops soon came and escorted the young mother away and had the child taken away. The little girl scrame at the top of her little lungs because she didnt understand why they were taking her mommy. She reached out and stretched and yelled over and over again for her mom. It was so heart breaking to watch. I know kids are taken from their homes every day but to have to watch it was super hard.
Kids are so innocent and as they grow and are learning and testing things it can seriously take a toll on the parents patients. But to not even give her unborn child really a chance at a really healthy life by smoking and having high stress in the womb is just unfair. I hope that young mother gets a huge reality check.

My Birthday, A National Holiday!

So this past week on the 3rd was my birthday! My wonderful husband spoiled me rotten and I basically was treated like a queen for the day! I got breakfast in bed which of course was my fav, chocolate chip pancakes! Great way to start the day, with a little sugar! Since I am terrible with surprises the day before, my hubby surprised me with a new bike! I am so pumped to ride this bad-girl and get into shape!
Lately I have had to use my handy-dandy camera phone to take all my great pictures. So I have told J for a while "we need a camera." So earlier in the week we got a camera! It is awesome. It lets me do so many fun things. So I took some pretty professional pictures of the flowers J and my good friend Amber got me for my b-day!

Needless to say, I have had a lot of fun with my new camera!

Later that night we had an awesome BBQ! Some good friends came over and J made amazing burgers! Followed by a delightful fun-fetti cake! (Yes I know, I have the taste buds of a 5 year old ok.) Ending the night with an intense game of Battle of the Sexes. Lets just say that game favors the guys. Not fair!

Thanks everyone for sending your love and birthday wishes my way! My day was wonderful!
